CPE Narnia - Home Page

CPE Narnia is a non-profit child care centre. We offer services to children 18 months to 5 years of age at all stages of development.

CPE Narnia is a subsidized daycare facility. Our daily rate per child is currently $9.10

Mission Statement

Narnia provides full day childcare in a safe, healthy and nurturing atmosphere. We recognize children, staff, and parents as active learners and support this with meaningful educational experiences.

Philosophy

Narnia provides opportunities to encourage the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative development of the child. Self-help skills and the building of a positive self-concept are emphasized. The program focuses on the philosophy that children develop by interacting with their peers, their environment, and the community at large. Families are an integral part of the Narnia experience. The administration, educators and parents work together to help each child reach their potential.

The Board of Directors is composed of 9 members who have a right to vote:

    ▪    6 user parent members in good standing;
    ▪    1 member of the community

Narnia is renowned for its programming and is highly sensitive to the input and participation of the families whose children come to Narnia.
